The 2008 Rendez-Vous is a pinnacle experience for Scouts and Scouters from Detroit Area Council that builds enthusiasm for Scouting and our Centennial Celebration.

When is this going to happen?

Who is invited?

This event is open to all Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers. Everyone who attends will receive a patch, seen below:

Cub Scouts will visit during the day on Saturday, May 17, 2008. Program runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Day visitors will be encouraged to stay for an age appropriate Cub Scout arena show.

Boy Scouts and Venturers camp for the weekend on site at Willow Metropark or visit during the day, same as the the Cub Scouts.

Sounds good, so how much is this going to cost?

$15.00 per Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturer, Explorer, adult leader and
parent if registration is received on or before May 9, 2008.

$25.00 per Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturer, Explorer, adult leader and
parent onsite.

In addition to this, there is a fee of $4.00 per day, per vehicle, to get into the Metro Park. There is no limit to the number of occupants in a vehicle. Annual passes to all Metro Parks are $16.00 available at the Dauch Scout Center.
