Detroit Area Council is offering a new High Adventure for 2008!

Are you looking for the adventure of a lifetime? How about a week of SCUBA Diving on the beautiful coral reefs of the Florida Keys? This adventure offers a close up look at many types of marine life. You will have at least nine dives including a night dive. You will also get a chance to dive in a National Marine Sanctuary.

Scouts must be 14 years old by start of adventure and a certified diver.

Each crew will consist of 8 members, there must be at least 2 adults in each crew. The High Adventure Committee has flexibility to place Scouts and Scouters wanting to go to Sea Base into crews that are not filled to capacity.

We currently have the confirmation for four crews for July 20th thru July 27th 2008. The estimated cost for the SCUBA Adventure is $1200.00 (see attached registration form for payment information). This will include round trip airfare, Florida ground transportation and Sea Base fees. A registration fee of $100 per person will secure your 2008 High Adventure trip.
