Cole Canoe Base is constantly re-inventing ways to keep todays ever changing youth active in the out of doors. Our program is "High Adventure for the 21st Century."

Providing activities for the Scout that is new to the program all the way up to Venures and Sea Scouts that "Have tried everything." Our camp parallels programs found at national Boy Scout camps for a fraction of the price. Cole boasts a 98% unit return rate, one of the highest in the nation. As an "A rated" nationally accredited camp since it was renamed over 30 years ago, Cole Canoe Base strives for one thing and one thing only: Safe, Quality, Fun Filled Programming.

For over 55 years, D-bar-A-Scout Ranch has been providing quality-scouting experiences for Scouts from Southeast Michigan and around the Mid-west. Located a little over an hour's drive north of Detroit, the ranch boats over 1,700 acres of wilderness. Lockwood Lake is three lakes on the largest of the three lakes on the property and it is used by the Scouts for all of their aquatic activities. We provide dining hall food service, or you welcome to bring your own food to cook in your campsite.

We emphasize outdoor program that you can't get a home; shooting sports, aquatics, ecology/conservation, scoutcraft and climbing.
