Campmasters

The friendly faces that greet you at camp on the weekend are volunteers called Campmasters.

The purpose of the Campmaster program is to have a responsible individual in camp, allowing our resident camp personnel some time off with their families.

Campmasters are "Camp Ambassadors". Some responsibilities include; making sure unit leaders feel welcome as they check in and out of camp with you, also, periodically walking or driving through camp to be sure all is OK. If you have a special talent, you may offer to present a "Campmaster Program" to any units visiting camp.

Here at camp, you will find a wonderful place to stay with all the comforts of home - "The Martin Administration Center". There is a private bathroom, with shower, full kitchen facilities, an open living area with sofa, reading chair, dining table. There are also doored bedrooms. Truly a wonderful get away weekend.

People interested in working one weekend a year at D-bar-A or Cole Canoe Base are needed to provide a quality program of fun, adventure, and purpose for boys. To give leadership in the outdoor program contact Mike Fox, Sr. Make a difference -- be a part of the Campmasters. Lodging provided. All are welcomed to participate.

Hope to see you at camp!
