Boy Scout, Cub Scout and Tiger Cub Fall Roundup

Boy Scout troops and Cub Scout packs will conduct a joining night to meet the needs of the individual unit and corresponding community. Special in-school presentations shall be used as a practical recruiting technique. Every student in every elementary school and sixt grade boys will have an opportunity to join!

Joining night will be held September through October yearly. Training to assist leaders in conducting an effective recruiting night must be held in every district in August/September.

Boy Scout Spring Roundup (Webelos to Scout Transition)

A Spring Roundup program will be sponsored by our council from February 1 through June 30, annually. The purpose of this program will be to encourage recruitment of new members and the graduation of Webelos Scouts to take advantage of summertime Scouting programs, thereby increasing Boy Scout retention.

Venturing

Year round recruiting is conducted to encourage the involvement of youth ages 14-20 in Venturing Crews. Venturing programs exist to serve our market of teenage youth and their families. Hobby and career interests are determined through the career interest survey. Over 100, 000 students are surveyed annually.
