St. George Emblem Award

Nov. 15, 2008 is the deadline for nominations for the St. George Emblem.  A volunteer is nominated for this award by his peers after completing significant service helping the Catholic Youth in Scouting.  An application may be obtained from your district CCS Rep. or anyone on our roster or downloaded from http://www.nccs-bsa.org/pdf/StGeorge8.5x11.pdf.  The completed form must be mailed to Henry Vassel, CYO Office, 305 Michigan Ave., Detroit, MI 48226.  The awards will be presented at the Annual Award Program in March 2008.  

Ed Crowe Service Award - 2 years service helping Catholic Youth in any CYO organization.

Henry Vassel Service Award - 10 years service helping the Catholic Youth in any CYO organization
James Coughlin Service Award - 25 years of outstanding service helping the Catholic Youth in any CYO organization.

March 20, 2008 is the deadline for nominations for these awards.  Scouting Volunteers are also eligible.  An application may be obtained from your district CCS Rep. or anyone on our roster.  The awards will be presented at the CYO Volunteer Award Dinner/Program in April.
