Merit Badge Counselors

Attention Unit leaders:

Are you looking for a current Merit Badge Counselor or are you wanting to become a Three Rivers District Merit Badge Counselor?

Contact the Three Rivers District Advancement Committee's Dean of Merit Badges,  Perry.T.Leong or (734)-671-1671. He will be able to help find that person you are looking for your scouts, or he can help you go through the necessary steps to become a Merit Badge Counselor.

Exposure Goes a Long Way

  • Do you go to the market in uniform?
  • Do you talk about Scouting activities at work?
  • Do you ever have your boys participate in neighborhood activities in uniform?
  • Do you insist that your boys wear uniforms to school on your meeting day?
  • Do your boys do community service projects in uniform around your charter organization?

If you answered no to any of these questions then you are missing out. When the community sees us in uniform doing things that are positive, that becomes an instant attraction. Believe it or not, parents want their boys doing good things, the kinds of things we do! Wear your uniform proudly!

Calling All Volunteers

We are looking for District volunteers to fill positions in all our committees and commissioner staff.  If you are interested in helping plan activities, start new Units, recruit new youth, raise money, advancement, or being a commissioner/advisor for a current Unit, please call Rico Epps at (313) 897-1965
