Popcorn Holiday Blitz

What is the Popcorn Holiday Blitz:  It is a one time offer to units that did not have the opportunity to be part of the 2007 Popcorn Sale or units who need some extra dollars to meet their program needs.

Dates:  Nov. 15th – Dec. 3, 2007

How will the Holiday Blitz work:  The sale will use a show and deliver format.  Units will be able to order a limited line of product to sell door to door. Orders due by Nov. 10th.    

What products will be available:  Cheese Lover Tin; 15 pk. Unbelievable Butter; 15 pk. Butter Light; 11 oz. Carmel Corn with peanuts; and 26 oz. Gourmet Caramel Corn.
Special Note:  Other product may be available on very limited basis.   

When will the product be available:  A limited amount of product will be available on Nov. 10th with all the products available by Nov. 15th.  Starting on Nov. 15th all products will be picked up at Dauch Scout Center, 1776 West Warren Ave., Detroit.     

Settlement date:  Money less unit commission is due on December 3rd  at the Dauch Scout Center.  If units have product to return they may do it at this time, all undamaged product may be returned.  Returns do not have to be in full cases.

Commission Rate:  For this one time blitz commission rate will be 40%. There will be no prizes.  To help get the Scouts excited about the Holiday Blitz for each sheet filled up, his name will go into a drawing for four Detroit Lions tickets, a free week at summer camp or some other greater prizes.  If he fills up three sheets, he can get his name in the drawing three times.

Calendar of events for Holiday Blitz:

By November 7: Units that wish to participate need to sign up
By November 10: All orders due. Limited amount of product will be available.
November 15: All products will be available.  Starting on November 15, all popcorn will be at Dauch Scout Center.
November 15-Dec. 2: Holiday Blitz Sale.
December 3: Settlement of accounts at Dauch Scout Center.

*Troops and Crew may choice not to use the prize program and receive an additional 3.5% commission*
