  • Council forms
• Be the "backup source" for the following information:
  • Council Directory with email link
  • Council Committee Rosters with email link
  • District Committee Rosters with email link
• Have all units provide an email link to the unit leader for joining information (Unit Locator Page(s)).
• Provide a centralized location for information on all council events, programs, and activities.
• Provide the information and tools that volunteers require to perform their roles and responsibilities.
• The entire site as well as elements can be used as a training tool.
• Promote the success of the volunteers and units.
• Be a centralized point of communications from the National Boy Scouts of America.
• Published twice a month with the ability to distribute important messages within eight hours.
• Keep BSA National and other councils aware of the program development and success of the Detroit Area Council.
• Aggressively pursue options that involve the DAC Strategic Plan, technology, and the web site.
• Maintain a web site development plan that will integrate the web site with the business of running the council more efficiently.
• Work in conjunction with other communications vehicles of the Detroit Area Council.
